Developed over hundreds of years, the ancient martial art of Muay Thai is known for its tremendous power, maximum efficiency and raw simplicity. Often referred to as the “Art of Eight Limbs”, Muay Thai utilizes a beautiful symphony of kicks, punches, knees, and elbows with fluidity and grace.*
The art of Muay Thai toughens your mind, body, and spirit. As the late great Muay Thai Grandmaster Kru Yodtong Senanan once said: “Muay Thai is good for your confidence and inner strength”. On top of enhancing your physical conditioning, Muay Thai builds confidence and promotes discipline of the mind through the control of emotions and feelings.**
Like many martial arts, Muay Thai cultivates important values. It has the power to humble, discipline, and inspire, which is arguably the most important aspect of any martial art. Muay Thai instills in its practitioners many great qualities including courage, humility and warrior spirit. No doubt these qualities will help you unleash your greatest potential in all areas of life. And it doesn’t matter whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned practitioner. There are some important principles that you should understand and apply to your Muay Thai training and life, such as persistence, dedication, hard work, and passion. When you do, you’ll not only become a better fighter, but also a better person.
We, as a team of Gold Lion Holding share these values and principles. Being a team of dedicated, passionate and hard-working professionals, we are striving to perform on the highest level and achieve outstanding results. We also believe that sport and business have many things in common and athletes have skills that are beneficial in business. That is why we always support any kind of sport activities and this time we became a main sponsor and organizer of an exclusive Muay Thai seminar with a Hungarian Muay Thai Champion Krisztián Lénárt.
Spreading the might of Hungarian combatants is one of Lénárt’s goals. The fighter has left a mark by claiming the title of Professional K1 Champion and WTKA Amateur Thai Boxing European Champion and his journey does not stop: “A true warrior’s thirst for victory does not stop after one battle, only after winning the war!” Moving across different clubs, under the guidance of versed coaches, Krisztián dominated the Hungarian Coliseum, as 6 times champion.
We were happy to welcome Krisztián in Malta and to introduce to you a passion of his life. That was an amazing and unique experience for all the participants to learn from the Champion. The seminar took place last weekend, 29-30 September, and was kindly hosted by Fort Fitness. All levels from beginners to advanced enjoyed the breath-taking and very intensive training. Apart from learning and polishing the skills, participants boosted their energy with a strong motivation, confidence and inner strength to go further no matter what and do their best for the best performance. We would like to express our appreciation for Krisztián and all the participants who joined us and made this event happened.
