On 4th of March 2017 Gold Lion Holding team came to St. Edward’s College to paint its beautiful historical premises, which was built more than a hundred years ago. Previously being used as a military hospital, this building was then turned into a school, which opened its doors to its first cohort students back in 1929. With time, St. Edwards college has expanded into a full-service organisation and now caters to all educational levels and ages.
On the day, with around twenty Gold Lion Holding representatives, we made a visible improvement in St. Edward’s College’s appearance. Having gathered all together at 10:00 am, we were given all the necessary tools from the maintenance team of the college and our instructions towards the work procedure by our brilliant Construction division. First, we scraped off the paint that has peeled from the balusters, then sanded the surfaces to make them as uniformed as possible. After we were done with scraping, we took on the next satisfying part of the project, painting.
Social responsibility is one of the fundamental values at Gold Lion Holding. We strongly believe that we can make a real difference in our society by giving back to it. Keeping in mind this philosophy, we aim to hold similar events in the future, so keep yourself updated for more!
