Unforgettable experience at Gold Lion Holding

Amber Rops joined the Marketing team as an intern at the beginning of September last year, her input and creativity has been unmeasurable to us.

We would love to share her own words about the time spent here:

“My first day of my internship I was a bit nervous. Moving to another country and starting in a new workplace was exciting, but the people at Gold Lion Holding were all very kind, so I felt right in place instantly. In the first week I was getting

to know the company and the tasks I would do during my internship period.

After the first week I was already doing some content writing, making visuals and helping with the Facebook plan. I got a lot of responsibility and opportunities during my time at the company to get a great learning experience. A great thing about Gold Lion Holding, is that the organisation wants the employees to grow and develop their qualities. My aim was to improve my English level in speaking and writing, so I got the opportunity to reach my goal by getting more tasks in content writing. Besides this, I gained a lot of other qualities, because I got the chance to help with all the marketing tasks. This gave me a clear idea of what I’m good at and where I still can improve myself.

Besides the fact that you learn and grow at the organisation, the atmosphere of the working place is nice. The company has employees with many different nationalities and cultures which is very special as everyone is different. To strengthen the team spirit, the company organises some fun team building activities such as a football game and Dirty Santa. This makes the workplace better as you get a nice connection with your colleagues.

The marketing team is small, which I prefer, as you get to know each other better and you’ll get more opportunities to develop your skills. It is fun and a good learning experience.

Thanks to the wonderful time at Gold Lion Holding, my period in Malta was unforgettable!”

We wish her all the best, good luck with studies, and maybe one day we will have her back!
